Our oceans, the cradle of life on Earth, are facing an unprecedented threat - plastic pollution.
Each year, millions of tons of plastic waste find their way into our seas, wreaking havoc on marine life and ecosystems. But as individuals, we hold the power to make a difference!
During my travels, I founded Art4Change, a personal project to raise awareness and funds for ocean conservation by selling my illustrations of sea creatures.
It became a way to connect with local organisations and support grassroots beach cleanups and ocean conservation in a tangible way.
I've donated hundreds of postcards to local organizations across Europe like Ocean Patrol Portugal and ElasmOcean Germany who are doing great work in marine conservation & education.
Alongside that I have also personally distributed my cards and through the help of everyone who has bought one, I have been able to repeatedly donate to the Ocean Cleanup!
Why the Ocean Cleanup?
Because we have already reached a stage of pollution where only raising awareness and acting accordingly is not enough to stop the plastic floods.
